Special Programs Security personnel interface with customers and the government on security requirements for proprietary programs as well as providing guidance and support to employees working on such activities, helping them stay abreast of changes and updates in requirements.
The ACSSO will perform a wide variety of tasks as part of the Special Programs Security team. Duties include but are not limited to: assisting in the development, administration and maintenance of the assigned program’s security policies and procedures in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment ensuring compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 705, Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), and customer directives outlined in contractual documents.
** This is onsite position in St. Petersburg, FL**
What You Will Do *
Administering security procedures (NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, and JSIG), as they relate to operating in a classified environment for: personnel processing, media control, marking and control of documents / materials, security education, visitor control, destruction of classified.
Oversee Personnel Security responsibilities: maintain personnel files, process Program access Requests (PARs).
Develop, prepare, and implement local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Support the testing, shipment, and storage of classified materials.
Implement a media control program in accordance with JSIG requirements.
Provide security oversight and management to subcontractors and suppliers via the DD Form 254 or other contractual methods.
Maintain a secure facility in accordance with (IAW) ICD 705.
Conduct and/or participate in internal reviews and/or Government inspections.
Investigate security infractions/violations and prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise and the associated risk to the program(s).
Perform tasks as directed by the Security Manager.
This position may require periodic overtime and weekend work depending on program needs.
This position may involve travel on company business.
A valid driver’s license is needed as this position may involve site visits across business locations.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Active and transferable TOP SECRET U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance."
Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Qualifications We Prefer
At least 4 years of National Security experience preferred.
Degree major in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study
Related training with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) including, Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
