The Common Control Actuation System (CAS) Operations Lead plays a critical role in shaping how our future products are built. Serving as a strategic partner to Engineering and our Common CAS factories, this leader drives operational excellence, cross‑functional alignment, and world‑class new product introduction practices.
This is a unique opportunity to influence factory readiness from the earliest stages — helping design, stand up, and mature multiple new production lines before full‑rate demand arrives. You will work directly with Raytheon UK to help build production capability from the ground up, ensuring manufacturing readiness, process stability, and a seamless transition from design to build.

What You Will Do
Shape Factory Readiness & Strategic Execution
Partner with Raytheon UK, Effectors factory leadership, and program offices to establish new production capability for the Common CAS strategic initiative
Influence design for manufacturability by driving early and proactive engagement with Engineering
Support strategic decision‑making through data analysis, performance insights, and readiness reporting
Lead operational reviews, drive alignment across cross‑functional teams, and ensure all actions remain on track
Lead Cross‑Functional Projects & New Product Introduction
Drive multi‑site, cross‑functional projects in support of NPI and production line activation
Identify operational risks, resolve bottlenecks, and implement scalable process improvements
Ensure alignment between business objectives, engineering deliverables, operational readiness, and schedule
Operational Excellence & Standardization
Develop, mature, and standardize operational processes, workflows, and best practices across domestic and international factories
Monitor and analyze KPIs to measure readiness and drive continuous improvement
Provide actionable insights to support data‑driven decision-making and long‑term operational planning
Leadership, Communication & Alignment
Create compelling executive-level presentations, reports, and readiness briefs
Serve as a connective link between leadership, engineering, and factory teams
Facilitate collaboration between Raytheon UK and U.S. teams while ensuring export compliance
Ability to travel up to 25%
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience
5+ years of experience in operations, project management, or supply chain
Experience in an on-site manufacturing environment
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
SAP experience
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Advanced user in Microsoft Excel, and other data analytics software with willingness to further develop skillset
Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and resolve issues and mitigate risks.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
