Role Overview / Summary
- This position is for an experienced finance professional to lead the site’s finance function and serve as a key partner to the Site General Manager (GM). The role is responsible for executing financial plans, evaluating and enhancing financial processes and standards, analyzing key financial indicators to forecast performance driving informed decision-making and ensuring there is a robust internal control environment within the business.
- The role requires the individual to manage and maintain strong working relationships across the business including the Site GM, Site Management Team, EMEA Regional Finance Team and JV Partners, providing expert financial guidance and information which will assist in decision making. In addition, the individual will liaise with external financial partners and third-party providers on a broad range of financial matters.
- The role will be based on-site with the Collins team in the Abu Dhabi Airports Free Zone, UAE. Please note that recruitment for this position remains subject to final hiring approval. Primary Responsibilities
- Execute financial plans, including cost reduction strategies and cash management strategies, to support delivery of the business plans.
- Drive and ensure a strong internal control environment including compliance with Sarbanes/Oxley at the site.
- Drive the completion and review of all monthly financial reporting requirements including actual, budget, and forecast information for the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly and quarterly requirements from Regional Finance, Corporate, JV Partners and other external parties, ensuring that the company adheres to corporate accounting policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ensure all Annual Statutory Reporting and Tax requirements are complied with.
- Management of Financial company audits. (internal & external)
- Drive monthly and annual budget and forecast preparations for the site.
- Review and approve commercial bid proposals, ensuring acceptable financial return and any financial risks are identified and appropriately mitigated.
- Leadership responsibility for the site finance team.
- Provide monthly management reporting to the business of all actual financial and budgetary reports and make financial recommendations to management.
- Management of the relationship & resolving issues with Financial Shares Services (AP, AR & Treasury)
- Managing Monthly Collection Targets & interfacing with Customers on Collections, Rebates etc. as required
- Ensuring the Appropriation Request process, including capital project modeling, is used to provide financial justification for equipment additions and new capabilities.
- Responsible for driving continuous improvement activities within the Site Finance processes and supporting regional CI initiatives
Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA), and 5–8 years of relevant progressive professional experience.
- Prior experience managing small- to medium-sized operations, preferably within an aviation maintenance, repair, or service facility.
- Strong information systems proficiency, including Microsoft Office, JDE, SAP, and OneStream (Factory experience preferred).
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with strong business and financial acumen.
- Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure in time-sensitive environments.
- Action-oriented, results-driven, and adaptable, with a flexible approach to achieving goals.
- Customer-focused mindset, dedicated to meeting the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience driving business performance and leading complex initiatives aligned with Enterprise Excellence objectives.
- Ability to leverage technical expertise to optimize cost structures and ensure financial governance and compliance.

- Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
