About The Job:
The Red Hat APAC Solutions and Technology Practice is looking for a Senior AI Consultant to join us in Singapore. In this role, you will apply independent judgment and extensive technical mastery to deliver AI consulting engagements across the Asia-Pacific region, implementing and optimising enterprise-grade AI solutions on Red Hat AI Platform and OpenShift at key enterprise accounts.
As a recognised expert within the practice, you will work on varied and non-routine assignments; designing, building, and deploying scalable AI workloads while resolving complex issues with creative solutions that impact the broader function. You will propose new techniques and methods based on business context, coordinate the activities of project team members, and mentor colleagues on AI platform best practices. This role demands advanced technical depth, strong consulting delivery skills, and the ability to operate hands-on in complex customer environments across industries including financial services, telecommunications and manufacturing etc….
You will work closely with architects, sales, and engineering teams to scope technical requirements, implement solutions, and ensure successful adoption. This role involves up to 20% travel across APAC to engage with customers.
What You Will Do:
Win customer confidence through successful delivery of discovery, analysis, and design workshops that shape architecture decisions aligned with Red Hat AI Platform and OpenShift.
Implement and deliver AI solutions end-to-end, including data pipelines, model training and inference, LLM serving (vLLM, llm-d), deployment orchestration, and observability on Red Hat AI Platform.
Own technical delivery on assigned engagements from design through implementation and handover, working independently to set and achieve objectives tied to functional targets and goals.
Resolve complex technical issues with creative solutions across diverse customer environments, applying independent judgment on varied and non-routine assignments.
Propose new techniques and methods for AI workload deployment, platform hardening, observability, monitoring and alerting, capacity management, scalability, resiliency, and security operations based on business context.
Drive pilot-to-production conversion by defining acceptance criteria, production-readiness gates, and operational monitoring.
Design and implement responsible AI controls into delivery workflows — including model risk, privacy, fairness, and security controls.
Produce high-quality technical documentation, including architecture designs, operational runbooks, and deployment guides for both technical and business stakeholders.
Coordinate activities of project team members to ensure successful completion of engagements. Mentor and provide guidance and advice to new team members on AI platform best practices, MLOps workflows, and DevOps methodologies.
Contribute to Red Hat’s internal methodologies, playbooks, reference architectures, and shared consulting assets. Stay current with emerging AI capabilities, platform engineering trends, and open-source projects.
What You Will Bring:
Professional experience in consulting, implementation, or engineering roles with hands-on delivery of platform or AI/ML solutions.
Deep, hands-on expertise with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, including installation, configuration, and day-2 operations for AI workloads.
Expertise in deploying and operating scalable AI/ML systems, including LLM serving (vLLM, llm-d), distributed training and inference, data pipelines, and production deployment.
Hands-on experience with MLOps and LLMOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, model versioning, drift detection, and Model evaluation.
Experience with modern predictive and generative AI techniques, including agentic AI patterns, retrieval-augmented generation, and multi-modal models.
Deep expertise with open-source AI ecosystem projects such as Kubeflow, PyTorch, and vLLM.
Strong application architecture and development expertise.
Good customer-facing skills with the ability to present to customers and lead technical interactions across diverse cultural and professional audiences.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills with both technical and business audiences.
Willingness to travel across APAC (up to 20% of the time).
