We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to lead end-to-end testing across a diverse portfolio of THX audio products and drive overall quality assurance strategies. This role is responsible for ensuring product quality throughout the development lifecycle, from test planning and execution to validation and release readiness.
The ideal candidate will conduct system-level root cause analysis across software, driver, and hardware layers, working closely with cross-functional and international engineering teams to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues. Success in this role requires strong troubleshooting capabilities, a deep understanding of Windows platforms, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a global environment.
- Multi-Category Product Validation: Lead end-to-end validation and testing activities across multiple THX-enabled product categories. Review product requirements and specifications, identify potential gaps or risks, and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases that cover functional, integration, and edge-case scenarios.
- System-Level Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and resolve complex issues spanning software applications, drivers, firmware, and hardware components. Utilize diagnostic and debugging tools, including Event Viewer, system logs, and performance monitoring utilities, to perform in-depth root cause analysis and drive issue resolution.
- Global Engineering Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering teams and stakeholders across North America, Europe, and Asia. Participate in technical discussions, provide detailed defect reports, reproduce issues, and track corrective actions through resolution while coordinating across multiple time zones.
- Quality Assurance and Release Readiness: Analyze product quality metrics, testing results, and risk assessments to provide data-driven recommendations on product readiness. Support go/no-go decisions and help ensure products meet company quality standards prior to release.
Pre-Requisites :
- 3–5+ years of experience in system-level troubleshooting, quality assurance, validation, or software/hardware integration testing, preferably on Windows platforms.
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, system diagnostics, debugging methodologies, and software-hardware interactions.
- Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate directly with global engineering teams and produce clear technical documentation and reports.
- Fluent in both written and spoken Chinese and English.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex product requirements into structured test strategies, detailed test cases, and actionable technical findings.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain high quality standards under tight deadlines, and make objective, data-driven decisions.
- Experience validating audio technologies, audio drivers, firmware, or related multimedia systems.
- Familiarity with USB audio specifications, monitor/display validation, acoustic testing methodologies, or audio signal path analysis.
- Passion for quality and a proven ability to uncover defects through creative test scenarios, exploratory testing, and a user-centric mindset.
- Experience working in cross-functional, multicultural, and globally distributed development environments.
