Program Manager – Microsoft Growth (Azure)
As a Program Manager – Microsoft Growth, Azure you will work with a portfolio of new and existing Pax8 Microsoft partners who are committed to growing their Azure-focused customer base. In this role, you will drive partner acquisition and activation across the channel to enable partners to service SMB customers at scale.
Why This Role Is Exciting?
You will consult with MSPs on Microsoft designations and profitability, lead acquisition-focused initiatives such as blitz weeks and webinars, and actively engage MSPs to stimulate growth activities. You will ensure partners are effectively leveraging Microsoft incentives and marketing funds to drive customer acquisition, while also supporting opportunity qualification and customer wins. Using Cloud Ascent data, you will execute go-to-market strategies for high-propensity sales cohorts and support targeted growth motions. You will also participate in Microsoft-led SureStep initiatives, including Summits and Bootcamps, represent Microsoft by earning the Pitch Perfect Badge, and engage partners to drive program utilisation aligned to your focus solution area.
Success in this role will be measured against key performance indicators including customer and workload acquisition, reach, frequency and yield, year-on-year CSP growth, and program and funding utilisation.
What You’ll Be Doing?
Develop and implement Azure focused strategies with MSPs to drive customer acquisition at scale by growing their marketing and sales capabilities and contributing to campaign and event execution
Assist partners with building compelling offers that address top customer scenarios. Mobilize partners to consume Microsoft Azure programs and resources (e.g., Campaigns in a Box, Co op funds, Cloud Ascent targeting data, DMC tool) and participate in Microsoft programs & offers
Utilize targeting tools like Cloud Ascent to help MSPs drive new customer conversations and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Implement a Rhythm of Business with MSPs and local Microsoft stakeholders to ensure consistent engagement, performance tracking and program utilization
Develop and execute drive partner outreach and demand generation initiatives through all available channels (email, webinars, hosting events, social media, etc.), promoting offers and campaigns to build excitement around their Microsoft practice
Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively engage partners, promote initiatives, and support scalable go-to-market execution
What You’ll Bring?
3+ years of work experience in an IT sales, marketing or business development
Preferably experience working at a Partner/Hoster/Telco/Service Provider or competing technology vendor
Good understanding of Microsoft partner ecosystem, Microsoft partner program and focus solution area
Preferred familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, Copilot and/or Dynamics products and SKUs
Applicable Microsoft certification (E.g. MS900, SC900 or AZ900) completed within first 90 days
