Senior Manager, Product Control and Relationship Management, Hedge Fund Services
Summary
The Senior Manager, Product Control and Relationship Management will lead a Hedge Fund Services team responsible for valuation, profit and loss reporting, pricing substantiation, positional risk reporting, and client relationship support.
This role oversees work allocation, develops team members, monitors client profitability, and partners across the business to improve service delivery, efficiency, and client outcomes.
Major Duties
Manage day to day activities for the Hedge Fund Services Product Control and Relationship Management team, including work allocation, prioritization, and delivery timelines.
Oversee valuation, profit and loss reporting, pricing substantiation, and positional risk reporting processes.
Lead staffing, performance management, career development, salary administration, and disciplinary processes.
Assign client accounts to relationship managers based on service needs, relationship complexity, and team capacity.
Partner with sales teams, relationship managers, internal groups, and senior stakeholders to anticipate client needs and resolve issues.
Prepare and present consolidated quarterly reporting on new business progress, client activity, and team results.
Monitor client profitability by assessing market conditions, identifying cross selling opportunities, and supporting pricing decisions.
Recommend policy updates, redesign workflows, and resolve complex issues that require sound judgment across multiple disciplines.
Execute strategic business priorities while balancing operational requirements, client service expectations, and process improvement opportunities.
Encourage participation, teamwork, accountability, and clear communication across the team.
Qualifications & Experience
College or University degree and/or equivalent relevant work experience preferred.
Related industry qualification preferred.
Extensive experience in Hedge Fund Services, product control, fund administration, relationship management, or a similar financial services function.
Strong functional and industry knowledge, with the ability to apply technical expertise to complex client and business issues.
Experience leading teams, setting priorities, managing performance, and developing talent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients, business partners, and senior stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate work on time.
Flexible and adaptable, with strong technical skills and systems knowledge.

Salary Range:
$137,400 - 240,400 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
