We're hiring a Director, AI Supply and Demand Planning to lead the translation of commercial pipeline signals into infrastructure-ready execution plans.
This role sits at the critical intersection of Sales, Finance, Product Engineering, and Supply Chain — ensuring AI workload configurations, and revenue forecasts are converted into accurate, actionable demand plans. You'll own the global demand forecast of certain core components and ensure alignment between commercial growth and infrastructure deployment capacity. This is a highly strategic and operational role that directly impacts capital allocation and infrastructure scaling decisions.
Early on, you'll get deep on how demand signals currently flow through the business — helping to improve the existing forecast processes and mapping how commercial pipeline, customer contracts, and AI cluster configurations translate (or fail to translate) into BOM-level demand signals. You'll build relationships with the Sales, Finance, Product Engineering, Supply Chain teams, and external suppliers, and get a clear read on where forecast bias, misalignment, or blind spots exist today.
From there, you'll take ownership of the demand forecast. You'll build and maintain a rolling 18–24 month forecast, modeling demand volatility, ramp curves, and burst scenarios across customer segments. You'll integrate revenue forecasts with infrastructure capacity planning to ensure deployment readiness, align demand outputs with supply chain procurement and build strategies, and lead monthly demand reviews with commercial leadership — surfacing risks and trade-offs tied to infrastructure lead times, capital allocation, and supply availability as they emerge.
