Northrop Grumman Australia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Team Leader to join our DARC program in Exmouth, Western Australia.

This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on technical leader to step into a critical role supporting nationally significant Defence infrastructure while enjoying one of Australia's most spectacular coastal locations.

Working 7 days on, 7 days off roster, you'll lead a team of skilled technicians responsible for maintaining critical infrastructure, power generation systems and site facilities.

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading and mentoring a team of approximately 10 technical personnel

• Ensuring the ongoing operation and maintenance of critical facilities and equipment

• Overseeing maintenance activities, servicing and fault-finding

• Managing contractors, suppliers and service providers

• Coordinating shift activities and maintenance priorities

• Driving a strong safety culture and risk management processes

• Working closely with Defence and key internal stakeholders

• Supporting site operations in a remote and highly technical environment

About You
To be successful you'll ideally have:

• Technical qualification or equivalent industry experience

• Experience working in facilities operations and maintenance

• Hands-on experience maintaining diesel power generators is highly desirable

• Strong understanding of diesel power generation and electrical systems

• Team leadership or supervisory experience

• Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving capability

• Current NV1 Security Clearance or higher OR the  ability to obtain and maintain one.
