Northrop Grumman has an opening for either a Proposal Analyst Level 2 or Principal Proposal Analyst Level 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be on site in San Diego (Rancho Bernardo), CA or Palmdale, CA.
The Proposal Analyst Level 2 or Principal Proposal Analyst Level 3 will become part of the Strike division Material Estimating and Analysis (ME&A), working closely with Global Supply Chain (GSC), Program Management Office, Business Management, and various cross-functional proposal teammates. The candidates selected for this role will be a key member of proposal teams, leading/supporting proposal activities of diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement and collaboration with other team members.
Proposal Analyst Level 2: General application of concepts, and principles. Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks. Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Represents organization on specific projects. Frequent internal company and external contacts.
Principal Proposal Analyst Level 3: Full knowledge of industry practices. Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform fairly complex professional tasks. Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies. Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations. May develop and deliver presentations.

Basic Qualifications for Proposal Analyst Level 2:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field of study with 2 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree in stated fields of study
Must have an active U.S. Government Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 5 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain the Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to the commencement of employment.
Must have proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word
Ability to work onsite
Basic Qualifications for Principal Proposal Analyst Level 3:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field of study with 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree in stated fields of study with 3 years of relevant experience; or PhD in stated fields with 1 Year of relevant experience.
Must have an active U.S. Government Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 5 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain the Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to the commencement of employment.

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
