Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal Logistics Planner to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals in Melbourne, Florida. This position is fully onsite; remote work is not available.
In this role, you will review, analyze, prepare, and modify provisioning data and provide guidance for the preparation of Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) and related data in accordance with Northrop Grumman procedures. This provisioning data will be used to identify, select, catalog and determine support material requirements, and in the development of the following: Provisioning Parts List(s) and Design Change Notifications (DCN). You will also provide support for modifications, reviews, and updates to any of the above existing lists. You will attend and support provisioning meetings and conferences and perform other related duties as assigned. The successful candidate will be an organized, detail-oriented, self-starting individual who can work both, independently and in a team-oriented environment. You must also be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have the ability to follow strictly defined processes.
Basic Qualifications:
5 years of logistics experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, 3 years with a Master’s Degree, 1 year with PhD
Must have an ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret within a reasonable time as determined by business needs.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain special program access as a condition of continued employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance.
Experience with military aircraft maintenance or logistics experience.
Previous Provisioning experience.
Understanding of the DoD Provisioning systems and how they function (EAGLE, SLIC, MIL-STD-1388).
Experience navigating Logiquest, FEDLOG, or WEBFLIS or similar government tools.
Understanding of maintenance concepts related to provisioning documentation and experience developing provisioning reports for submission to a customer.
Ability to read and analyze Design Change Notices (DCNs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
Primary Level Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
