As a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist- Level 4, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position offers FT remote work, but preference is to be located near one of our NG Space Sector sites.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Sourcing and procuring various commodities throughout multiple programs – Initiate Requests for Quotation, analyzing Supplier proposals, perform price analysis, and negotiations
Ensures compliance with all public law requirements (FAR and DFARS) as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations
Reviews documentation of peers to ensure compliance
Work independently
Problem solve and find creative solutions
Review, reconcile and approve supplier invoices.
Interfacing and collaborating with Programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain
Plan Schedule and arrange execute activities to accomplish objectives
Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency
Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in Global Supply Chain, Purchasing/ Procurement, Operations – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience; in lieu of degree an additional 4+ years of experience will be considered
Strong experience in government contracting and compliance to internal policies and procedures as well as FAR/ DFARS
Proficiency in MS Office suite
Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, data analysis and V-look ups
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and extremely organized
Preferred Qualifications:
High experience in negotiating overriding terms and conditions
Experience in reviewing Purchase Order documentation for adherence to policies and procures and FAR/ DFARS
Experienced and knowledgeable with SAP/CostPoint ERP System
Located near a NGSP site (Baltimore, Chandler, Dulles, Los Angeles)
Primary Level Salary Range: $97,100.00 - $145,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
