Job Summary:
Provide broad support to the Mission Assurance Engineering and Quality Assurance departments within Mission Assurance and facilitate compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), AS9100, other statutory and regulatory requirements and program specific requirements. On a daily basis, this person will interface with inspectors and operators as a liaison with the Mission Assurance Engineering and audit groups, help resolve Quality/Production issues, conduct and coordinate internal audits, manage Nonconformance and Corrective Action efforts and support internal improvement activities.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide direct quality and technical support on a variety of technical tasks in support of compliance to program, quality, organizational, and industry requirements Support the development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of quality policy and procedures within the Quality Management System (QMS) including performing internal audits to assess conformance, supporting external audits, and managing corrective/preventive action Interface with various levels of technical, quality and operations personnel to ensure their understanding of inspection results, including reports of anomalies Interpret technical and quality requirements and provide inspection method guidance to engineering, design and inspection personnel Evaluate non-conformances, prepare non-conformance reports and maintain documentation through resolution and closure Perform Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) analysis and maintain documentation through implementation and closure Coordinate First article inspections with Quality engineering, manufacturing, and inspection personnel including planning, monitoring, records, and analysis Support daily housekeeping of manufacturing and inspection areas, equipment and processes to comply with Foreign Object Damage control requirements Facilitate and implement cost reduction and process improvement activities Provide support for investigations and special analysis assignments Lead and adhere to safety standards and procedures

This position falls under a Federal Explosives License issued by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) for this location. Candidates hired into this role will be required to complete and submit an Employee Possessor Questionnaire to ATF for approval to be a possessor.
Primary Level Salary Range: $75,500.00 - $125,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
