Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking Production Operations Staffing Manager 2. This position is in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.

What You’ll Get To Do:
Responsible for assessing directorate staffing needs, current as well as projected and working with the respective team leads to address those needs.
Responsible for supporting recruitment activities, including the planning of program demand and creation of requisitions.
Collaborate with HR and TA COE resources on metric generation and reporting.
Supporting staffing events inclusive of travel to off-site staffing geographies.
Coordination and support of intern planning and fulfillment.
Be a key partner in targeted staffing initiatives aligned to organizational goals and objectives.
Provide their group with regular flow down of company and organizational status and appropriately represent and be a spokesperson for the organization to their group, assigned project, and the company.

Partner with engineering and program management peers to assure a balanced and efficient assignment of resources to support and achieve key mission priorities

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) discipline and 8 years of related experience, or a Master’s Degree in a related discipline and 6 years of relevant experience
Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
At least 1 year experience in a Manufacturing or Production environment
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
3+ years leading a team, including mentoring and coaching
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning skills with the ability to solve issues and predict potential programmatic and technical risks
Operates independently with limited to no supervision, and the ability to establish a solid working relationship with technical staff, peers, and customers
Able to assimilate information from multiple sources, create coherent plans and then execute those plans
The discipline applicable technical acumen and ability to accurately assess, place, and task talent within the Manufacturing Directorate
