Role Description

The Associate, Lending & Credit Solutions will work closely with Relationship Managers (RMs), Investment Product & Advisory Solutions (IPAS) team and Control functions to originate, structure and execute financing transactions for IWM clients globally.

 

Other responsibilities include originating, structuring and executing financing transactions for high networth (HNW) and ultra-high networth (UHNW) clients of IWM.

 

Responsibilities

 

Origination:

• • • Participate in internal client reviews / portfolio analysis for identifying financing opportunities based on client KYC / RM discussions
    • Marketing IWM’s financing capabilities to clients and RMs
    • Building the lending pipeline for discussion with internal control functions

 

Structuring & Execution:

• • • Working closely with clients and RMs to structure financing solutions
    • Participating in internal discussions and preparing term sheets for clients
    • Preparing credit memos/analysis for internal discussion and approvals
    • Working on legal documentation for client execution

Marketing:

• • • Being an ambassador for LCS to market the product offering to RMs
    • Participate / conduct lending specific training to increase credit/lending awareness of the IWM franchise and improve loan penetration within the IWM book

 

Platform / Process Enhancements:

• • • Be actively involved in designing processes for productivity improvements and improving lending sales management practices of the LCS team

 

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in related roles
• Sound understanding of financial products and services
• Strong track-record of originating and structuring financing transactions in Asia Private Banking / Wealth Management space.
• Awareness of legal and regulatory environment in key markets in Asia
• Well versed in legal structures used in key markets for obligors.
• Good interpersonal, communication and client interfacing skills. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with a diversified client base.
• Mandarin speaking preferred
