Job Summary
The mission of the product engineer position is to ensure that the information that is delivered to manufacturing meets the requirements of the customer and that it is interpreted correctly for the manufacture and assembly of the product.
Job Description
- Communication Be the technical and communication interface between sales, engineering, production, and customers, as required.
- Product Design Responsible for the design of all technical, mechanical, electrical circuits, and tooling aspects for existing and new products.
- Approval drawings Send approval charts to the customer.
- Color separation Create the art for membrane overlay jobs as needed.
- Technical requirements Review the technical requirements of the equipment needed for the engineering department. (Software, Computer Workstation Specs, Image Setter Avantra, Ripper, etc.)
- Document creation and release Responsible for creating and publishing the necessary documents for the manufacture of the product to meet or exceed the requirements of the client.
- Support for other manufacturing processes Manufacturing support for the operation of CNC LED PNP FLEX LAM, and other manufacturing processes.
- Creating CAD files Create and send CAD files to cutting stations.
- Manufacturing Support QA and production support with the creation of technical drawings, documentation and aspects of BOMS, process sheets and translations as required.
- Supervision of assigned personnel Guides and supervises as required the tasks assigned to the Jr. Product Engineer.
- Joint support Participate in production meetings when necessary.
- Continuous improvement Actively participate in continuous improvement using performance indicators such as otd, ihr, scrap, cost reduction projects, rma reduction as metrics.
- Audit support Actively participate during internal or external audits of our quality systems, as well as in the solution and implementation of corrective actions that may arise during this process.

- SKILLS AND EDUCATION Education: Engineering or bachelor's degree completed, or equivalent
- Experience: 2 years in a similar position
- Language: English desirable

Use of appropriate software for the engineering application.
