Director, Integrated Solutions & Portfolio Commercialization
Position Summary
Nextpower is seeking a Director, Integrated Solutions & Portfolio Commercialization to lead the development and commercialization of packaged solutions built around the company's core tracker platform. This role will bridge Sales, Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and external partners to create differentiated offerings that simplify customer adoption, accelerate project deployment, and enhance portfolio value. The Director will be responsible for identifying, defining, and commercializing integrated solutions that combine trackers with complementary technologies, services, and partner offerings. Success in this role will be measured by revenue growth, margin expansion, market adoption, and the successful launch and scaling of solution-based offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Packaging & Portfolio Strategy
Develop and maintain the company's integrated solutions and packaging strategy.
Identify market segments, customer profiles, and applications where bundled offerings create measurable customer value.
Define solution architectures, value propositions, and commercialization priorities.
Evaluate new opportunities for integrating complementary technologies, services, and partnerships into the portfolio.
Commercialization & Go-to-Market Leadership
Lead commercialization efforts for new packaged solutions from concept through market launch.
Develop sales tools, positioning, messaging, and value frameworks to support customer engagement.
Work directly with regional sales teams to identify opportunities and accelerate adoption.
Support strategic pursuits by helping structure customer-specific solution offerings.
Business Case Development & Financial Management
Build and maintain business cases for integrated solutions.
Partner with Finance and Operations to evaluate pricing strategies, margin targets, cost structures, and profitability.
Analyze commercial tradeoffs and recommend actions that support sustainable growth and margin expansion.
Establish KPIs to measure solution performance and market success.
Customer & Market Insights
Develop structured feedback loops with customers, EPCs, Independent Engineers, developers, and channel partners.
Identify market trends, competitive offerings, and emerging customer requirements.
Translate market intelligence into actionable recommendations for internal stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Coordinate efforts across Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing.
Ensure organizational readiness for the launch and scaling of new solution offerings.
Drive alignment on priorities, resource requirements, and execution plans.
Value Validation & Proof Points
Lead initiatives to quantify customer value generated by integrated solutions.
Develop case studies, ROI analyses, deployment metrics, and other proof points.
Partner with customers and industry stakeholders to validate performance claims and commercialization assumptions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field.
10+ years of experience in renewable energy, solar, storage, power systems, or adjacent infrastructure markets.
Demonstrated experience in product commercialization, business development, strategic marketing, sales engineering, or solution management.
Strong understanding of utility-scale solar project development, EPC execution, and customer decision-making processes.
Experience developing business cases, pricing strategies, and financial analyses.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The annual salary range for this position is $200,000 - $225,000.
