Project delivery within EMEA Technology is managed by the Project Promotion team, which sits under IT Planning, Reporting & Administration (IPR). This team is responsible for executing the strategic delivery portfolio within the Technology domain, covering the following key portfolios: Branch, GCIB, Data, Finance, Compliance and Financial Crime, Risk, Digital Engineering Service (including Infrastructure and IT Service Management), Tech Other, and Cyber Security. These portfolios are overseen by the Regional Portfolio Committee.

The Cyber Portfolio delivers projects to meet IT Risk & Cyber security strategies, to reduce risk and maintain IT Security protection, governance, risk management and reporting. In 2026/27, the Cyber Portfolio is delivering a large program of work (Project Nexus), overseeing the strengthening of cybersecurity governance across EMEA (working under the directive of Tokyo Head Office). PJ Nexus involves setting up Centers of Excellence and standardizing processes and tools across the various regions of MUFG.

This role sits within the Cyber Portfolio Function & is primarily focused on working with the Head of Cyber Portfolio to manage the delivery of the scope pf PJ Nexus. The role reports to the Head of Cyber Portfolio.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The role supports the Cyber Portfolio Senior PMO and Portfolio Head in the coordination, reporting, governance, and administration of the Cyber portfolio, with a particular focus on Project Nexus, Frontier AI and other related initiatives.

The role will help ensure that portfolio, programme, and project information is accurate, up to date, and aligned to MUFG governance and reporting standards. The role will also support document control, meeting administration, action tracking, financial/resource reporting, and general PMO activities across the portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Senior PMO in maintaining portfolio, programme, and project governance across the Cyber portfolio.
• Coordinate reporting inputs, verify updates in Planview (or equivalent tools), and assist in preparing governance packs, dashboards, RAID logs, and management information.
• Support document management, version control, and storage of key project artefacts in line with MUFG delivery standards.
• Organise meetings, maintain action logs, and produce accurate minutes for governance forums and working groups.
• Support financial and resource tracking activities, including actuals, forecasts, requisitions, invoices, and reporting consistency.
• Assist with the maintenance of project plans, milestones, dependencies, and status reporting.
• Help track risks, issues, actions, decisions, and change requests, escalating concerns to the Senior PMO where appropriate.
• Work with project and programme managers to ensure that core governance artefacts remain current, complete, and compliant with the project delivery lifecycle.
• Support continuous improvement of reporting, controls, processes, and PMO ways of working across the Cyber portfolio.
• Provide flexible PMO and coordination support across the wider Cyber portfolio as required.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential:

• Relevant experience in PMO, portfolio coordination, project support, governance, or reporting roles.
• Experience supporting reporting, meeting administration, RAID tracking, and document management within a project or programme environment.
• Experience using Excel and PowerPoint to produce structured reporting and management information.
• Familiarity with project delivery lifecycle controls, governance requirements, and portfolio reporting.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and maintaining information across several initiatives.

Preferred:

• Experience using Planview, Power BI, SharePoint, or similar PMO / portfolio tooling.
• Experience supporting financial tracking, resource tracking, or project controls.
• Exposure to technology or cyber security delivery environments.
