Manages the development and/or implementation of Motorola Solutions products or services. Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgraded existing products or services. Manages projects from inception to completion (or transition), including tracking and evaluation of project performance. Ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and within accepted quality metrics. Participates in project review and status meetings, and communicates project status. Utilizes six sigma and project management methodologies to ensure maximum project effectiveness. Motivates project team to ensure optimal performance. May assist in the development of business plans, strategies, and approaches to take advantage of business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee projects from inception to completion or transition, including comprehensive project plan development, performance
tracking, and evaluation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Represent assigned programs in review and status meetings for senior leaders and executives.
- Issue Resolution & Risk Management: Utilize project management tools
(schedule, change order, risk assessment, action item log) to analyze complex
issues, develop resolutions, and establish and track risk mitigation plans with key stakeholders.
- Program Goal Attainment: Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure program goals are achieved.
- Team Leadership: Motivate and influence team members to ensure optimal
program performance.
Additional Qualified Skills:
- Software Program Launch Expertise: Proven experience launching end-to-end
software programs.
- Analytical & Creative Problem Solving: Ability to work on complex issues
requiring deep analytical skills and creativity.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Google Applications (Sheets, Docs, Slides,
Drive).
- Project Management Certifications: PMP certification, Certified SCRUM master, and/or other project management certifications are preferred.
- Agile Competencies: Demonstrated proficiency in using various Agile
methodologies for project management.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with all organizational
levels, from team members to senior leaders.
- Change Management: Strong command of change management issues and
methodologies.
- Leadership & Motivation: Proven leadership ability with high energy and
enthusiasm to inspire and motivate others.
- Execution & Attention to Detail: Hands-on, results-oriented, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Adaptability: Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and changing priorities, and to complete projects with minimal supervision.
