Join Morgan Stanley’s Finance Division in Budapest and take on a senior, high-impact role within Regulatory Capital Calculation and Reporting. As a VP – Regulatory Capital Reporting & Controls, you will act as a subject matter expert for Derivatives Credit RWA calculations and reporting across Financial Holding Company and Legal Entity.

What you'll do in the role:
Serve as subject matter expert and oversee end to end Standardized Approach to Counterparty Credit Risk (SA-CCR) RWA calculation for Derivatives, including related governance and controls
Support a significant set of deliverables under Basel III Endgame (B3EG) for SA-CCR and the Basic Approach for Credit Valuation Adjustment (BA-CVA) calculations
Support senior management with providing SA-CCR data analytics. Provide RWA calculation insights to influence business actions and drive results
Oversee regulatory capital calculation and reporting for daily monitoring, external reports, internal management reporting and Business Unit reporting
Lead improvements across process design, infrastructure, controls, and governance, driving a roadmap aligned with Technology and Data remediation plans
Support the annual Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) and Quarterly Stress Testing (QST) forecasting for Derivatives, including presentation in the senior management forums and engagement with Model Risk Management (MRM)
Liaise with Regulatory Policy on capital rules (existing/upcoming) and interpretations
Support regulatory, external, and internal audit requests
Provide portfolio insights that help influence business actions and support strategic capital decisions
What you'll bring to the role:
10+ years of experience, ideally with strong exposure to regulatory capital or reporting, preferably SA-CCR
Strong understanding of US regulatory capital rules under the Basel framework.
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex rules into clear business impact
Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks and with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to adapt to your audience
Ability to improve control frameworks, transform processes, and deliver practical solutions in a complex global environment
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred
Experience with SQL, Alteryx and AI is an advantage
