As part of this group, our dedicated team of equity specialists in Global Intelligence partner with law firms across the world to deliver a cost effective employee share plan compliance management service for global private and public companies, ensuring clients have the information they need to successfully operate their plans. Our Intelligence database provides direct support and expertise including tax and legal information, tax guides, project management tools and additional resources for around 160 jurisdictions. Our tax withholding product for non-mobile, mobile and 3rd party tax calculations within Shareworks enables clients to apply the required rates and withholding positions and provides visibility and clarity to participants on how and why tax is applied to equity compensation.
Ideally located in Calgary - Alberta and reporting to the Vice President, Global Intelligence Associate Team Manager, the Tax Mobility Vice President role leads in delivering our Global Intelligence and Tax products and services to our current and prospective clients.
The role will see you develop as a subject matter expert in global tax, tax mobility, and regulatory compliance for global share plans and an expert in Global Intelligence and Shareworks tax tools. The role focuses on service for new and existing clients, building our tax offering in the market, and the opportunity to support our sales and internal teams across the business as well as the development of our product.
Our ideal candidate is technically savvy, with strong communication skills. You have a passion for global tax compliance and tax mobility. Knowledge of employee share plans and regulatory compliance would be beneficial. You have a deep belief in team success, a willingness to adapt to continuous change and technological solutions, and a desire to take ownership over responsibilities. You also have a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders.
