We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Application and Infrastructure Security Associate.
The Wealth Management (WM) Chief Data Office (CDO) sits within the WM Risk organization and strives to find the right balance between risk management and business enablement. WM CDO’s mission is to: prevent unauthorized access to or misuse of client sensitive data and assets; abide by relevant privacy laws and regulations; effectively retain, retrieve, and protect information and records at the Firm; and mitigate risks caused by inaccurate, untimely, or incomplete WM data.
The Application & Infrastructure Security Team within WM CDO works to ensure that our clients’ Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is securely processed, and appropriate controls are applied across all technology assets handling sensitive data.
Role Description:
The WM CDO Application and Infrastructure Security Team seeks an Associate to support its efforts in delivery of a cross-functional risk technology and automation portfolio. The team partners closely with technology, business, and risk stakeholders to help shape requirements, define how tools and controls should operate, and ensure solutions are delivered in alignment with regulatory expectations, business needs, and the broader control framework.
The Associate will translate business, risk, and control objectives into actionable deliverables, including functional requirements, process flows, control logic, project artifacts, roadmaps, and delivery health reporting. In addition to tracking progress, managing dependencies, and escalating risks, this individual will help assess the effectiveness of existing tooling and analytics, identify opportunities to enhance risk detection, perform data analysis, and support AI and automation initiatives that improve control execution, transparency, and operational efficiency.
What you’ll do in the role:
Establish strong working relationships with partners across business units and facilitate working sessions and status meetings
Coordinate with development leads, testing, internal Subject Matter Experts, and other functional teams to ensure accurate solutions are delivered
Track and manage roadmap dependencies and timelines, identifying risks early and escalating where appropriate
Perform data analysis to convey areas of improvement and technology debt
Analyze the efficacy and performance of analytics and tooling for tuning and improvement
Support budget tracking and resource allocation across projects
Generate metrics for reporting to various governance forums
Succinctly communicate ideas, recommendations, and produce process flows to support decision making
Review, update, and maintain relevant policies and procedures
What you’ll bring to the role:
1-3 years of relevant experience in project management, business analysis, or a related delivery role, ideally in a technology or financial services environment
Bachelor's degree or greater in related field
Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to solve open-ended problems
Robust understanding of project management fundamentals (scope, schedule, budget, risk) and Agile delivery methodologies
Impeccable communication skills, both written and oral
Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to swiftly transition between projects and tasks
Practical experience using AI tools to enhance productivity; summarizing requirements, drafting documentation, accelerating research and analysis, or synthesizing meeting notes
Familiarity with project and workflow management tools (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, or ServiceNow)
Intrinsic curiosity and an eagerness to learn new technologies and skills
Experience conceiving and implementing novel solutions to problems
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a regulated or highly governed environment
CAPM, PMP, Agile/Scrum certification
Prior experience supporting technology risk, controls, or audit related initiatives
Experience in Generative AI (LLMs, Embeddings, Vector Databases, RAG)
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, R, or JavaScript, with the ability to write and maintain simple scripts and automate routine tasks to improve the efficiency and accuracy of data-based processes
Strong analytical skills with experience in data manipulation and analysis (i.e., capable of turning raw data into actionable insights)
Knowledge of the financial services industry; preferably in wealth management, finance, operations, or technology
Familiarity with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Dataiku, Power BI)
