Meet the Team
Ops & MO supports trade lifecycle activities and traders across all regions globally. In short, it's the function that sits between trade execution and the books & records, ensuring trades are captured, confirmed, reconciled, and reported accurately. The suitable candidate will primarily be responsible for supporting the firm’s regulatory reporting obligations. The position requires a sound understanding of regulatory reporting requirements, strong organizational skills, an attention to detail and ability to interact across a range of stakeholders.
What You"ll Do
- Member of a team that monitors the firm’s regulatory reporting obligations. This will include:
- MiFID II trade and transaction reporting.
- MAS trade & valuation reporting.
- Support exception & rejection management.
- Assess on a continuous basis regulatory reporting risks, and introduce or enhance controls as required.
- Assist with the resolution of failed, inadequate or missing controls.
- Assist with the documentation and implementation of processes and procedures for monitoring compliance across transaction reporting regimes.
- Remain current on the regulatory reporting landscape, ensure the Operations department is fully compliant with regulatory requirements at all times.
What You Bring
- Proven understanding of regulatory reporting obligations and their impact on Operations.
- Good knowledge of financial instruments across equities, fixed income and commodities.
- Knowledge of SQL, Alteryx & Tableau.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment.
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
- Advanced MS Office skills, including Excel PowerPoint and Word.
- Ability to manage a range of stakeholders and good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others.
