Meet the Team
Operations and Middle Office is one of the firm’s largest departments and plays a critical role in supporting the investment platform. Within the department, the Business Unit Control team provides oversight, analysis, and strategic business support across key investment activities. This team partners closely with stakeholders across the Credit business, as well as Middle Office, Operations, Finance, Risk, and Technology, with a particular focus on investment performance analytics, capital usage, financing facilities, and management information for business and senior management stakeholders.
What You'll Do
• Support the continued build-out of a growing global Credit business across liquid and illiquid investments
• Develop and enhance reporting and analytics at the deal, portfolio, and strategy levels
• Analyze capital usage, financing facility utilization, and overall resource efficiency across investments and strategies
• Assess financing structures, facility terms, and balance sheet usage to improve transparency and support business decision-making
• Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate the impact of new strategies, products, structures, and business requirements on reporting and platform support
• Help define business requirements and underlying information structures to support scalable reporting and analytics
• Provide business input into security setup and related reference data requirements to support investment activity and reporting needs
• Identify gaps across workflows, reporting, and platform capabilities, and help drive improvements across processes, tooling, and business support frameworks
What You Bring
• 5+ years of relevant experience in credit, alternative investments, business management, product support, portfolio analytics, reporting, or a similar role supporting investment businesses
• Strong knowledge of credit products and investing workflows, with experience supporting liquid and/or illiquid credit strategies
• Experience working closely with investment teams, business stakeholders, and senior management in a business-facing environment
• Strong understanding of investment performance, capital usage, financing structures, and the information needed to support business decision-making
• Ability to translate complex investment activity into clear reporting, business analysis, and decision-useful insights
• Experience designing, building, or enhancing reporting suites and management information for senior stakeholders
• Experience using visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to deliver business insights
• Strong communication skills, sound commercial judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
Salary Range
Millennium offers a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
