AI, Data & Digital Solutions Internship (Singapore)

Interns may be assigned to projects located at:

Project Title 

Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects across multiple functions and organisations, with project assignments aligned to business priorities and individual strengths. 
 
Project Description 

This internship provides opportunities to apply data science, software engineering, artificial intelligence, analytics, and automation technologies to solve engineering and business challenges across Micron Singapore. 
 

As multiple projects are available across different functions and organisations, shortlisted candidates will be introduced to the relevant project opportunities during the interview process and matched based on their technical background, interests, and business requirements. 
 

Interns will contribute to digital transformation, AI adoption, advanced analytics, software development, automation, business intelligence, and operational optimisation initiatives across the organisation.

• Apply AI and analytics to improve decision-making. 

• Develop automation solutions that improve productivity. 

• Generate actionable insights from operational and business data. 

• Support digital transformation initiatives across Micron. 

• Drive innovation through data-driven problem solving. 

Opportunities for Full Time Employment 

High-performing interns may be considered for future internship, return internship, New College Graduate (NCG), or full-time employment opportunities, subject to business requirements and performance. 
 

Project Scope 

• Interns will analyse complex datasets to generate actionable business or engineering insights. 

• Interns will design and develop dashboards, reports, automation tools, or software solutions to improve operational efficiency. 

• Interns will support AI, machine learning, data science, or digital transformation initiatives across the organisation. 

• Interns will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and develop data-driven solutions. 

• Interns will evaluate opportunities to apply AI and automation technologies to improve productivity and decision-making. 

Learning Opportunities 

• Gain hands-on experience with analytics, software development, AI, and automation technologies. 

• Learn how digital transformation initiatives support manufacturing and business operations. 

• Develop technical, programming, and data visualisation skills through practical project work.

Skillsets Required 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Strong programming aptitude. 

• Familiarity with Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Java, C++, R, or similar technologies is advantageous. 

• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Cloud Technologies, or AI-enabled workflows is advantageous. 

• Strong communication and presentation skills. 

• Interest in technology, innovation, automation, and semiconductor manufacturing. 

Course of Interest 

Ideal candidates should be pursuing Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field. 
 

Duration of Period 

Ideal candidates should be able to commit to a full time internship period of at least 4 months.
