Title and Summary
Director, Agent Pay Product & Solutions Lead (Greater China)
As a product and solutions leader within Mastercard's AI Center of Excellence based in Singapore, you will drive the definition and localization of Agent Pay capabilities for Greater China, covering both domestic and cross-border use cases. Partnering closely with regional and global teams, you will own product specification, solution architecture, and authentication frameworks to deliver secure, scalable agentic payment experiences and support the growth of agentic commerce across the market.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and own end-to-end Agent Pay product requirements for the China market, including domestic transaction flows, cross-border use cases, regulatory requirements, market-specific customer needs, and the translation of global product frameworks into China-compliant specifications.
• Develop product requirements, APIs, data models, user journeys, and authentication, identity, consent, and authorization requirements to support agent-initiated transactions across consumer, merchant, and enterprise use cases.
• Lead the design and implementation of secure authentication and authorization frameworks, including passkey-based authentication, biometric credentials, device-bound credentials, consent verification mechanisms, and user-to-agent, human-to-agent, and machine-to-agent interaction models for emerging AI-powered payment experiences.
• Collaborate with issuers, acquirers, payment partners, OEMs, digital platforms, regulators, and technology providers to drive adoption, interoperability, and compatibility of Agent Pay solutions across devices, operating systems, digital channels, and AI agent interfaces within the China ecosystem.
• Work closely with engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, compliance, legal, and market teams to prioritize requirements, manage delivery roadmaps, and bring solutions to market while aligning with global standards, identity frameworks, authentication protocols, and platform capabilities.
• Create and communicate product concepts through wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and visual design artifacts, leveraging rapid prototyping tools to validate assumptions, refine user experiences, and translate complex technical and business requirements into intuitive customer solutions.
• Identify emerging trends in AI agents, digital identity, authentication, and payments, translating them into scalable product opportunities that enable trusted, secure, and seamless agentic commerce experiences in China.
