Job Overview:
Support product operations and enhancement workstreams with a strong focus on data-driven decision making and data governance excellence. Product operations include go-to-market planning, user onboarding, platform maintenance, and continuous improvement of data quality, usability, and insights delivery across the product ecosystem.
Drive data governance initiatives within the product, including defining data quality standards, validation frameworks, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of insights delivered to customers.
Leverage SQL and Python to perform data analysis, validate product outputs, troubleshoot data issues, and automate recurring reporting and operational workflows.
Automate and enhance recurring processes using AI agents and intelligent workflows, including feedback collection, usage analysis, reporting, and prioritization pipelines.
Simplify and scale feedback management and reporting processes through AI-based workflows, enabling structured ingestion, categorization, and actioning of user feedback.
Coordinate product discussions on data insights, feedback trends, and product usage metrics across product, engineering, and regional teams to drive aligned decision-making.
Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, data quality KPIs, and usage trends across all stages of the product lifecycle, and recommend data-backed solutions to address gaps or improve performance.
Support global product management efforts by providing analytical and governance-driven inputs into strategic business plans and product roadmaps.
Manage JIRA tickets, including product support requests, data-related issues, and bug resolution, ensuring timely triage and closure.
Coordinate across cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Data, Sales, and Regional teams) to drive adoption, data integrity, and continuous product enhancement.
Build strong working relationships with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders to achieve product goals
All About You
Agile product management experience in analytical products and business intelligence solutions (Confluence, Jira, etc.)
Support production operations efforts including client onboarding, feedback collection, feedback and usage reporting, feedback planning and feeding it back into the product lifecycle
Invoking AI agentic capabilities into product development and feedback cycles.
Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to customers and internal stakeholders
Experience gathering user feedback and working closely with UX design and engineering
Analytical, solutions-oriented skillset with the ability to drive thought leadership to solve complex and ambiguous problems
Keen understanding of competitive offerings and industry trends in the self-service analytics space, and the ability to translate that understanding into meaningful actions and enhancements
Proven track record collaborating in cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding products and features
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to interface with clients
Highly organized and able to deal with multiple and competing priorities
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, data science, information technology, or equivalent work experience
Knowledge / Experience:
2–5 years related work experience, preferably in Financial Services, Payments, or Data Analytics domains
Experience in product management, product development, data governance, data engineering, data science
Hands-on experience working with large-scale data systems and analytics platforms
Experience in implementing or supporting data quality frameworks, validation processes, or governance initiatives
Skills/ Abilities:
Strong SQL skills (Hands-on mandatory) including joins, aggregations, and data validation queries
Working knowledge of any BI tool like Power BI/Tableau.
Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Office
Experience working with GitHub Copilot, MS Copilot, and ability to design prompts and workflows
Knowledge of Python is a plus for data manipulation, automation, and analysis (pandas, numpy, etc.)
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot data issues across pipelines and reporting layers
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational, planning and follow-up skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Business acumen with the ability to provide solutions that drive positive results for customers and Mastercard
