Overview
The Mastercard Business Intelligence (MBI) Platform is a global gateway to business insights, thought leadership, and data visualization tools—leveraging clients’ portfolio data. It unifies access to over 30 Mastercard Services solutions through a seamless, personalized user experience. Like a marketplace, users can explore, subscribe to, and interact with services available in their region via a single access point.
The Role
As an Associate Manager/ Senior Specialist, you will help shape the strategic direction, operations, and continual enhancement of the MBI Platform. This role requires someone who is intellectually curious, proactive, and able to turn ambiguity into clear plans and measurable outcomes. You will be expected to investigate beyond surface-level explanations, ask thoughtful questions, and develop a deep understanding of how products, processes, and stakeholder needs connect.
You’ll lead product assessments and optimize platform offering, expand products go-to-market and audiences, and align internal stakeholders to ensure MBI evolves with Mastercard’s priorities and client needs.
Success in this role requires strong ownership, project management skills, the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, and sound judgment to drive progress with limited guidance.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage platform offering – Identification, Assessment & Prioritization
Oversee the product offering an available go-to-markets.
Evaluate new product and expansion requests – understand dependencies, technical feasibility, and alignment with strategic needs. Recommend prioritization to maximize business impact.
• Marketplace Growth
Support development of MBI’s go-to-market and monetization strategies. Help define incentive models to support scalable, sustainable growth.
• Operational Excellence & Quality
Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, quality standards, platform content, user experience, and governance.
• Strategic Communication
Create and maintain onboarding resources, use cases, and communication materials that drive stakeholder understanding, platform adoption, and organizational alignment. Develop presentations and executive briefings tailored to senior audiences.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment
Build trusted relationships across teams (product, technical, regional leads), proactively drive alignment, and maintain momentum across complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Project Planning & Execution
Independently create project plans, define milestones, manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and drive execution across multiple concurrent initiatives.
About You
• You have 3-6 years of relevant experience in consulting, strategy, business operations, program or project management, or a related field.
• You possess strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
• You are naturally curious and driven to understand how things work. You ask thoughtful questions, investigate beyond the first answer, and seek to understand root causes rather than accepting surface-level explanations.
• You are analytical, sharp, and quick to learn. You can distil complex problems, connect ideas, and develop practical recommendations.
• You thrive in ambiguity and can independently transform broad objectives into structured plans, actionable next steps, and measurable outcomes.
• You demonstrate strong ownership and initiative, proactively driving work forward with limited guidance.
• You are an effective communicator and storyteller, capable of translating complex topics into clear, compelling messages tailored to a variety of audiences, including senior leadership.

• Understanding payment technologies, financial services, or business intelligence platforms is a plus.
