Title and Summary
Senior Analyst, Finance Business Partner
Overview-As a member of our Core Payments Finance Team, you will have an opportunity to add value to the Mastercard Core Payments business unit worldwide. This role includes divisional support including reporting, revenue analysis, and related processes.
Role-Specific responsibilities include:
• Monthly accounting tasks including revenue journal entries, accruals and other close responsibilities
• Participate and support in the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecast processes
• Product revenue variance analysis with in depth driver based detail
• Ensure monthly/quarterly financial reports and related analyses are prepared timely as required by corporate guidelines
• Assist in the development of product revenue models
• Supporting the product owners to ensure KPIs are met and reported on
• Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly divisional reporting including financial risks and opportunities
• Assist with ad hoc special projects and financial analyses as assigned
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and results oriented, focused on challenging the status quo, aligning expectations, and leading efficiencies through ongoing process improvement.
• Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting required
• CPA and/or MBA preferred
• Strong Excel skills required. Exposure to Oracle and Hyperion a plus.
• Strong communication skills
• Proven track record of managing relationships across a matrix organization, with strong communication and influencing skills
• Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to perform in ambiguous situations
• Willingness to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with changing priorities
• Results oriented with a proven track record of successfully driving continuous process improvements
