Overview
The Global Partnerships team is responsible for cultivating and managing Mastercard’s strategic partnerships with key players across the payments ecosystem. The team works with global players in tech, e-commerce, and financial services to create innovative, differentiated products and solutions that shape the future of commerce. Through a consultative approach, and inspired by Mastercard’s longstanding focus on inclusive growth, we are passionate about working hand in hand with mission-aligned companies to solve real-world problems for people and businesses around the world.
The Global Business Platforms vertical under Global Partnerships builds strategic relationships with top companies in technology, commerce, and finance that serve businesses around the globe. This team leverages Mastercard’s capabilities to solve real-world challenges and deliver seamless, secure, and inclusive payment experiences for our partners and their business customers of all sizes.
We are looking for a strategic leader with strong business development and partnership expertise to lead engagement and partnerships with technology platforms serving the business space. This role will help develop and lead impactful partnerships that deliver value for business-focused platforms in areas including payment acceptance, card issuing, stablecoins and digital assets, cybersecurity tools and analytics.
Role
• Lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for a segment of Global Business Platforms
• Drive commercial success by identifying, structuring and securing high-value and mutually beneficial partnerships with Global Platforms that improve the lives of business owners and employees at scale
• Build trusted senior executive relationships internally and externally to align the business around the partnerships and to ensure their success
• Deepen and expand customer relationships across Global Business platforms, by identifying strategic opportunities for joint value creation
• Embed and distribute Mastercard’s products and services within platforms that drive complimentary value
• Engage with product and services organizations within Mastercard to inform product roadmaps and solve for market needs

• You are passionate about technology and about using technology to drive improved outcomes for businesses ranging from small businesses to large corporates
• You have broad familiarity with the global payments landscape and adjacent industries, including trends in agentic commerce, stablecoins, Open Banking, digital payments, and platform-based business models.
• You have exceptional executive communication skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority.
• You’re a data-driven problem solver with strong project management and organizational discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Purchase, New York: $235,000 - $375,000 USD
New York City, New York: $245,000 - $391,000 USD
