Multiple Shift Options Available (Availability on each shift is subject to change)
Crew 1 - Days: $28.17/hour minimum | $70,304 minimum annual earnings
- Monday-Thursday | 7:00am - 7:00pm
- Listed rate includes 8 hours of guaranteed weekly overtime
Crew 2 - Nights: $32.50/hour minimum | $81,120 minimum annual earnings
- Monday – Thursday | 7:00pm-7:00am
- Listed rate includes 8 hours of guaranteed overtime each week & shift differential
Weekend Day Crew: $37.56/hour minimum | $70,304 minimum annual earnings
- Friday - Sunday | 7:00am - 7:00pm
- Work only 36 hours per week and earn full-time pay
Weekend Night Crew: $39.56/hour minimum | $74,048 minimum annual earnings
- Friday - Sunday | 7:00pm-7:00am
- Work only 36 hours per week and earn full-time pay
- Listed rate includes shift differential

Position Summary
Marmon Utility is hiring a Machine Operator to set up, operate, and monitor wire drawing, wire stranding, and extrusion equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining production, quality, and safety standards while minimizing downtime and waste.
Qualifications:
- No prior machine operation experience required - we provide paid on-the-job training for all new employees.
- Candidates with experience as a Machine Operator, Extrusion Operator, Production Operator, Manufacturing Operator, or Equipment Operator are encouraged to apply (higher pay dependent on experience).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
- Basic math skills required
- High School Diploma or GED
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality and workplace safety
- Operate production equipment according to established procedures and work instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Ability to safely handle reels, spools, hand tools, and measuring equipment
Safety & Physical Requirements:
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
- Work safely around manufacturing equipment and moving machinery
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
