Responsible for the development of new products from the generation of the product concept to the introduction to the market. Evaluates market potential of new products. Coordinates the efforts of marketing, design, and production to test and develop new products.
- Lead the development of product strategy by identifying market and customer needs, iterating on the product vision, and validating roadmaps.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging culinary trends, customer pain points, competitive threats, and new market opportunities; anticipate market shifts and make informed decisions to maintain competitive positioning.
- Translate market insights and voice of customer (VOC) into product/category strategies, develop long-term product roadmaps aligned with growth goals, and convert them into clear, realistic product requirements for the engineering team.
- Partner with regional sales leadership and channel partners to drive product adoption, support strategic sales initiatives, and assist with key customer tenders.
- Define and manage pricing, positioning, and portfolio architecture to maximize market share and profitability.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, etc., to plan and build a comprehensive, tailored product portfolio; develop compelling value propositions, product messaging, sales tools, and training materials.
- Conduct strategic assessments and critical analysis; create and execute product-to-market strategies, focusing on defining value propositions, sharpening differentiation, and sizing target markets within priority channels/customers.
- Gather, monitor, and track stakeholder needs across various product releases.
- Manage timely delivery of key projects in collaboration with R&D, Sourcing, and Manufacturing.
- Own and manage product roadmaps; build strong relationships with key stakeholders to identify gaps and prioritize solutions.
- Lead and manage product managers and marketing teams.
