Key Responsibilities
Supplier Strategy & Selection: Work with management on the long-term global sourcing strategies and identify, evaluate, and select top-tier foundry and OSAT partners.
Capacity & Demand Planning: Negotiate and secure capacity & CT of wafer, assembly, and test services to meet product roadmaps and revenue goals.
Cost Optimization: Lead "should-cost" analysis, drive competitive RFQs (Request for Quotations), pricing benchmarking and negotiate pricing and contracts to achieve cost reduction targets.
Manufacturing Service Agreement (MSA): Participate in the drafting of MSA. Review the adequacy of MSA to ensure manufacturing delivery commitment and financial obligation by the suppliers. Enforce the T&C of MSA.
Others: Company’s advocate to escalate and resolve commercial & delivery issues. Participate in QBR with the suppliers and drive commercial improvements.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with engineering, supply chain, and business units to align sourcing with new product development (NPD).
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Supply Chain Management, or Finance.
Experience: 5-10+ years of procurement or supply chain management experience specifically within the semiconductor, foundry, and/or OSAT industry.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of wafer fabrication processes, advanced packaging (e.g., WLP, 2.5D/3D), and testing, or semiconductor planning/production control experience, an added advantage.
Core Skills: Exceptional commercial acumen, high-level contract negotiation abilities, data-driven analytical & reporting skills.
Language/Travel: Fluency in English and Mandarin (added advantage) to communicate with stakeholders from Mandarin speaking regions, with international travel capabilities.
