Job Description
The Role:
The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for driving manufacturing strategies and solutions in partnership with the business group and engineering organizations. This role directly impacts the final product cost, quality, and delivery of new products. The manager will lead efforts in NPI projects across value chain strategy, DFM, FMEA, CIP, lean manufacturing, value engineering, and process development expertise.
Your Contribution:
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams through the entire product launch lifecycle, managing launch plans, pilot builds, and open-issue resolutions from initiation to mass production
- Accountable for leading teams to successfully execute and launch manufacturing projects on schedule.
- Oversee complex manufacturing project transfers and transitions, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project and manufacturing risks to prevent delays and cost overruns.
- Provide stakeholders and executive leadership with clear, data-driven visibility into project status, milestones, and health metrics
Your Qualifications and Skills:
- Project Management experience in consumer electronics/ digital & mobile devices, and works with cross functional team, managing new product development
- Good knowledge of Project Management Standard
- Able to manage cross-functional projects in global environment
- Good communication skill for cross-function discussion.
- Able to execute on commitments, courageous, ability to face reality.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English is required
- PMP preferred
