Description:You will be the Production Operations Expeditor for the Production, Planning & Control team. Our team is responsible for coordinating material flow, ensuring on‑time delivery, and supporting missile and fire control production.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Production Operations Expeditor you will be responsible for managing daily expediting activities across manufacturing, quality, engineering, inventory control, and program management.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor real‑time production status and identify bottlenecks.
- Coordinate material movement to ensure components arrive at the right location on schedule.
- Develop and execute rapid recovery plans to keep the schedule on track.
- Communicate status and issues to cross‑functional teams and external partners.
- Utilize SAP MRP, APRISO, and advanced Excel tools to track and report progress.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:Bachelors' degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or at least three years in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to stakeholders.
Experience/Proficiency in SAP MRP, APRISO and Microsoft Office.
Understanding of manufacturing operations.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with changing priorities and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and mitigate errors and discrepancies.
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:Green Belt (Six Sigma) certification
PMT (Program Management Team) Leader or
Co‑Lead experience
Inventory‑Control & Material‑Handling expertise
Advanced Excel (Macro/VBA) programming
Data‑analysis & visualization tools (e.g., Power
BI, Tableau)

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
