Salary: £59,500 - £75,000
Leonardo UK operates a grade-based salary framework with broad bands. The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is benchmarked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.
Your Impact
The Captor-E Mk0 Radar is produced for the Eurofighter Typhoon and currently in operation with multiple export customers.
There is a need for a Lead Systems Engineer to play a pivotal role in the broad scope of work delivered by the ECRS Mk0 Systems Engineering team, and this will be as Deputy to the Mk0 EIS Chief Systems Engineer. The Systems Engineering team operate across the full lifecycle, and so you will have involvement across Requirements Definition, Functional Design, Design Change Management, Trials Support & Analysis, and Verification & Validation.
As a systems engineer you will work closely with a broad range of engineering disciplines, including software, integration & test, and international partner organisations. The role will require you to work with a range of stakeholders, including the Systems Team Lead, Chief Systems and Software Engineers, and Design Authorities.
