Job Description:

Salary: £34,500 - 39,000

The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is benchmarked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.

What you will do as a Senior Test Technician is take our Products, test them, shake them, bake them and bond them.

Working with a small team of Technicians within Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT), the Test Technician will be responsible for testing production and customer owned hardware, fault-finding and diagnosis of faults to board level, basic assembly of hardware plus programming of modules using a variety of Acceptance Test Equipment and software packages.
Core Technician skills, problem solving and continuous improvement are also a necessity. Due to the nature of work performed within this area, the majority of work performed will be within a screened laboratory environment.

What you’ll bring

• Experience using electronic test and measurement equipment.
• Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple testing activities.
• Adaptability to changing priorities, working independently or in a Team.
• Methodical approach to following test specs and recording results accurately.
• Ability to work effectively under time sensitive production schedules.
