Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

 KLA is looking for a motivated Mechanical or Electrical Engineering student to join our team and gain hands-on experience in motion control, lab work, and system integration on advanced technological projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of motion control systems
• Support lab activities including setup, calibration, and data collection
• Contribute to hardware and software integration in multidisciplinary projects
• Accurately document procedures, experiments, and results
• Support troubleshooting activities in the lab and during system integration

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering student from a recognized university, with at least 1.5 years remaining until graduation
• Basic understanding of motion control and laboratory work
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience in robotics/ mechatronics – an advantage
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with lab equipment, optics, automation, or system integration – an advantage
