Job Summary
Revenue Administration supports the fee process for the Key PrivateBank and Institutional Services. The Senior Operations Analyst works in partnership with leadership and possesses functional expertise to drive or analyze operational or operational support processes.
Provide advanced level support to department manager and associates to ensure accurate, complete and timely generation of trust fees. In addition, provide support to department manager through information analysis and reporting. Generate various reports for management and line of business. Develop ad hoc reports as needed.
Essential Functions
- Identifies and implements operational improvement concepts that generate measurable benefits across the organization (e.g. revenue, expense, client experience, etc.); further supports larger improvement projects.
- Assist in developing reporting and metrics to measure performance and effectiveness of operational processes.
- Support all solutions for business critical operational or technology issues including operational impact, root cause analysis, cross business impact, and arrival at solutions; communicate clearly to end users and key stakeholders.
- Mine data from primary and secondary sources often using complex joins across multiple datasets.
- Use project management skills to drive and support the completion of various tasks, including application changes, upgrades, issue remediation plans, 2nd and 3rd line of defense exams, etc.
- Partner and communicate with stakeholder groups to ensure workload is effectively prioritized, planned, and tracked to completion.
- Serve as a "trusted advisor" who develops and maintains strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders (LOB partners, technology, compliance, vendors, etc.).
- Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice
- Demonstrate an understanding of the end-to-end fee process including account setup, maintenance, fee calculation, fee collections, statistics gathering and overall system architecture. Use system and process expertise to support the activities of the department.
- Create and maintain Global Plus System coding and parameters used for client fee computations.
- Prepare monthly line of business reporting, as well as develop ad hoc reporting as needed.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues of a complex or sensitive nature.
- Provide support to Revenue Analysts with research and resolution to fee problems and entering computation requests.
- Participate in the training of new employees or existing employees learning new functions.
- Contribute ideas for improvement appropriately. Participate in and lead department initiatives to increase efficiency and improve service.
- Monitor, track and review written procedures. Responsible for the review process to ensure procedures are updated to reflect current operating standards, regulatory requirements and department internal controls
Required Qualification
- Strong mathematical aptitude with the ability to analyze complex calculations, identify variances, and validate financial results with a high degree of accuracy
- Advanced Excel Skills
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- OR equivalent experience (required)
Work Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience (required)
Skills
- Four year degree in Business or Finance or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to learn detailed, complex processes quickly and function independently with limited supervision.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Sound business judgment as evidenced by success in ability to prioritize tasks, escalate and resolve issues while meeting required deadlines.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Ability to compile data using advanced level Excel tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to positively interact with Line of Business, Finance partners.
- Proven experience and success in a team environment.
- Process improvement oriented. Innovative problem solver.
- Prior experience with investment management, trust or trust operations preferred.
- Working knowledge of General Ledger account postings and revenue recognition preferred.
- Working knowledge of Cognos, and/or databases preferred.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $63,000.00 - $96,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
