KBR is seeking a Site Team Leader who will be responsible for leading on-site operations, overseeing the HSE, Engineering, Construction Management and Specialized Services activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution. This role coordinates multidisciplinary teams, ensures alignment between engineering design and construction delivery, and drives performance across schedule, cost, safety, and quality objectives.
Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
Promote a strong safety culture and compliance with HSE policies
Conduct regular safety walkdowns, audits, and risk assessments
Coordinate the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Participates in safety incident investigations
Site Leadership & Coordination
Lead and supervise on-site HSE, Engineering, Construction Management and Specialized Services teams
Act as the primary point of contact for site-related activities
Coordinate daily operations between engineering, procurement, and construction functions
Promotes effective communication and alignment across all stakeholders
Engineering Oversight
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
Coordinates the proper implementation of design requirements in the field
Collaborate with design teams to resolve technical issues and field changes
Monitor compliance with engineering standards and project specifications
Construction Management
Oversee construction activities to achieve adherence to scope, schedule, and budget
Support planning and sequencing of work to optimize productivity
Facilitate site inspections and progress tracking
Quality Assurance & Control
Work with the main stakeholders to meet the required quality standards and specifications
Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning activities
Address non-conformance issues and ensure timely resolution
Schedule & Cost Control
Track project progress against schedule milestones
Identify and mitigate delays or risks impacting delivery
Support cost control efforts, including tracking site-related expenditures
Stakeholder & Contractor Management
Liaise with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors
Manage contractor activities and resolve site conflicts
Provide regular updates and reporting to senior management
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
15+ years of experience in construction and/or engineering site operations
Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams on complex projects
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
Solid technical understanding of engineering and construction practices
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proficiency with project management and reporting tools, as well as experience with digital construction tools (e.g., BIM, Procore, Primavera)
Must be proficient in English.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
Experience working on industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.

Position Reports to: Sr. Manager, HR
Employment Type: Project-based hire (temporary assignment) with an estimated duration of 1 year, aligned to specific project needs, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance.
Work Authorization: Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Mexico.
