Mechanical ModellerKBR is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Mechanical Modeller to join our growing Transport Infrastructure team in Melbourne. Working alongside experienced engineers, designers and project leaders, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality mechanical modelling and design solutions for complex transport infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical challenges, project diversity and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding outcomes.
As a Mechanical Modeller, you will contribute to the planning, design and delivery of mechanical systems across a range of major transport infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for developing and coordinating detailed 3D models and design documentation for mechanical services and systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements, relevant standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed mechanical models and associated documentation for transport infrastructure projects using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and other relevant modelling platforms.
Support the development of mechanical design solutions from concept through to detailed design and construction phases.
Collaborate closely with engineers, project teams, clients and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
Manage and deliver allocated mechanical discipline work packages in accordance with project requirements.
Ensure all work is completed to agreed standards of quality, cost and schedule.
Apply relevant Australian Standards, client specifications and industry best practices throughout project delivery.
Identify, troubleshoot and resolve modelling, coordination and design issues.
Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary design teams, including civil, structural, electrical and systems disciplines.
Contribute innovative ideas to improve project performance, efficiency, constructability and technical outcomes.
Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement.
Seek guidance and support when required to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Associate Diploma, Diploma in Engineering, Advanced Diploma, or a related qualification (highly regarded).
Minimum 3 years' experience using Revit MEP and/or other 3D modelling platforms on mechanical infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated experience delivering mechanical modelling and design within transport infrastructure, industrial, utilities or major infrastructure environments.
Experience modelling mechanical systems such as tunnel ventilation, HVAC, station mechanical services, pump stations, plant rooms, or similar infrastructure systems.
Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.
A commitment to safety, environmental and quality standards.
Knowledge of BIM processes, model coordination and digital engineering workflows will be highly regarded.
