Job Description:
The Senior RF Engineer will provide senior-level radio frequency and radar subject matter expertise in support of advanced Department of Defense and Intelligence Community programs. The engineer will conduct and oversee all- source technical analysis of complex foreign air defense and weapon systems, develop and apply radar system and subsystem models and simulations, and assess system performance to support U.S. acquisition programs, test and evaluation activities, operational warfighters, and senior decision-makers. The role will lead complex, multidisciplinary technical efforts; advise government sponsors and program teams; translate intelligence and engineering findings into actionable recommendations; and prepare authoritative technical reports, briefings, training, and conference materials for technical and executive audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the senior RF and radar subject matter expert for complex foreign air defense and weapon system analyses. Provide technical oversight for radar system and subsystem analysis supporting warfighter, policy, acquisition, and test and evaluation customers. Lead large, complex technical and hardware programs, including multinational and foreign materiel exploitation efforts. Conduct and guide all-source scientific and technical intelligence analysis of current and future weapon systems. Develop, apply, and assess modeling and simulation studies to characterize radar and weapon system performance and aircraft survivability. Advise major U.S. acquisition programs and other government stakeholders on technical risks, capabilities, and analytical findings. Plan and lead technical exchanges, conferences, and collaborative activities involving the Intelligence Community, defense industry, military services, and allied partners. Prepare and deliver technical briefings, reports, and presentations for senior government, defense, and operational audiences. Mentor engineers and analysts and develop or deliver technical radar training for the government workforce. Support requirements development and coordinate multidisciplinary technical work across government and industry teams.
