Assistant Government Relations Officer (GRO)

Responsibilities

Oil Field Passes (OFP) for the KBR staff in Basra, Iraq

• Preparing the required paperwork for OFP applications.
• Getting the required signatures/approvals as required.
• Liaising with government officials and the Clearance Office for any issues related to obtaining OFPs.

Support to blood test fixers with arranging blood tests for KBR expatriate personnel

• Preparing the respective paperwork.
• Visiting the Health Department in Basra.
• Other support, as required.

Support for LOI applications

• Preparing the required paperwork.
• Visiting the MOI and other government offices.
• Other support, as required.

Other Tasks, as requested by the Senior GRO

About This Job

• Work location is in Basra, Iraq
• Daily commuter, 8 working hours per day, 6 days per week

Requirements for the Candidate

• Nationality - Iraqi
• Bachelor University Degree in the relevant field
• Good communication skills
• Good Arabic and Basic English languages knowledge
• Good computer skills – MS Office
