Vice President-AI Cognitive Engineer Lead

As a Human-AI Experience Lead within the Transformative AI team at JPMorganChase, you will define how AI shows up for clients and advisors—shaping intuitive, trustworthy, and effective experiences that translate advanced AI into real-world value. You will work across product, engineering, and research to design how AI interacts, guides, and collaborates within everyday workflows.
Job responsibilities:
• Define end-to-end Human–AI experiences across client and advisor journeys
• Shape interaction patterns—how AI asks, explains, recommends, and escalates
• Lead user research and validation to ensure clarity, usability, and trust
• Embed responsible AI (fairness, safety, transparency) into user-facing experiences
• Prototype and iterate on new interaction concepts
• Partner cross-functionally to translate AI capabilities into usable products
• Establish scalable patterns and standards for AI experiences
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
• 3+ years in AI-focused product or human–AI interaction roles
• Deep expertise in experience design
• Strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals and user behavior
• Experience with responsible AI concepts (fairness, transparency, safety)
• Ability to simplify complex systems into intuitive experiences
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
• Experience with agentic or AI-driven systems
• Familiarity with AI evaluation, auditing, or red-teaming
• Strong intuition for trust, explainability, and user comprehension
