As a Fund Servicing Analyst within JPMorganChase, you will play a crucial role in our fund servicing operations. Your primary focus will be on executing routine transactions and collaborating with various teams. You will also apply your knowledge of fund servicing to ensure smooth operations, while also identifying opportunities for process improvements. Job responsibilities  

Process, validate, and oversee the accurate booking of derivative and securities transactions in accordance with established procedures and control standards.
Support the timely and accurate delivery of NAV components to Fund Accounting teams for final client reporting and valuation.
Manage daily valuation, cash, collateral, and reconciliation activities across derivative portfolios.
Investigate and resolve trade breaks, reconciliation exceptions, valuation discrepancies, and operational issues in a timely manner.
Partner with Trade Processing, Reconciliations, Custody, Fund Managers, Client Service, and Technology teams to resolve operational exceptions and improve service delivery.
Respond to internal and external client inquiries while ensuring adherence to service level agreements and quality standards.
Perform root cause analysis on operational issues and implement solutions to improve Straight Through Processing (STP) and reduce manual intervention.
Identify opportunities to automate processes, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen the control environment.
Ensure all operational risks, control issues, and exceptions are appropriately escalated and remediated.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
5 years of experience in Financial Services, Derivatives Operations, Fund Accounting, Asset Servicing, Investment Operations, or Capital Markets Operations.
Strong understanding of Derivatives, Securities Markets, Trade Processing, Valuation, Reconciliations, and Collateral Management.
Knowledge of OTC Derivatives and related operational workflows.
Understanding of financial instruments including Equities, Fixed Income Securities, Commodities, Indices, and Derivative Products.
Experience supporting NAV production, valuation processes, cash management, and fund operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills  

CA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or equivalent professional qualification.
Experience supporting hedge funds, asset managers, alternative investments, or derivatives-focused investment vehicles.
Knowledge of derivative valuation methodologies, cash and collateral management, and market data processing.
Experience working with third-party accounting platforms and valuation systems.
Exposure to operational transformation, process automation, and technology enhancement initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and drive continuous improvement efforts.
