Join Chase's Card and Connected Commerce Content team and bring destinations, hotels and bookable experiences to life through best-in-class storytelling. You will lead the team that turns travel recommendations into content cardmembers act on.
As a Vice President, Travel Editorial in Card and Connected Commerce Content, you drive the travel editorial slate and how that coverage reaches cardmembers across the Chase ecosystem. You coach and lead the editors and writers who produce it. This role reports to the Head of Editorial.
Job responsibilities
- Own the travel editorial vision, centered around original recommendations that help cardmembers decide where to go, where to stay and what to do.
- Build and coach a team of editors and writers, and raise the bar on the quality of their work.
- Adapt coverage across the Chase ecosystem and formats, from guides and reviews to social videos.
- Ensure travel content reflects cardmember benefits accurately.
- Collaborate with production, photo, social and communications teams to publish and promote the work.
- Grow relationships with internal Chase marketing and lodging teams, and external contributors and partners.
- Represent travel editorial with cross-functional stakeholders.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 7+ years in editorial and digital media, including travel or lifestyle coverage.
- 5+ years leading editorial teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in the travel landscape, with a point of view on destinations, hotels and what is worth recommending.
- Strong editorial and news judgment, with the ability to sharpen headlines, hooks and angles so stories feel distinctive.
- Fluency across formats and channels, including social video.
- Proven ability to deliver results through influence across cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for content needs.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments with structured review and approval processes.
