As a Market Data Category Lead in Global Supplier Services, you will lead Sourcing and Supplier Management activities across Market Data and related service categories, helping to deliver value, manage risk, and support business objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders across the firm to develop sourcing strategies, negotiate commercial agreements, and ensure effective governance of third-party relationships. You will provide direct people leadership, coaching, and development for a team of sourcing professionals, and oversee prioritization, execution, and performance across the team while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. You will be responsible for management of team members located across Jersey City, Warsaw, and Bangalore.
Job Responsibilities
Provide direct leadership, coaching, and development for a team of sourcing professionals across Jersey City, Warsaw, or Bangalore.
Manage team performance, workload prioritization, capacity planning, and resource allocation to support business objectives.
Lead strategic supplier negotiations and category initiatives across the Market Data portfolio.
Partner with stakeholders to deliver commercial value, risk management, and operational excellence.
Support the Category Director in driving team strategy, execution, and talent development.
Foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and results.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5+ years of Market Data Services experience.
Extensive Sourcing and process knowledge.
Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and judgment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under deadlines
Ability to work effectively across regions and with all levels of management.
Client management and relationship management skills.
Strong financial analysis skills and experience conducting cost/spend analysis.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel, plus Ariba procurement tool.
