As the Resilience Manager for Commercial & Investment Bank in the Philippines, you are responsible for the oversight of resiliency risk as it relates to the location. You identify and address resilience risk, support local management in understanding resilience posture, and prepare for and respond to disruptions. You collaborate with local and global stakeholders, execute strategic initiatives, and ensure alignment with regulatory and business objectives. Your work promotes a positive resilience culture and strengthens the firm’s ability to respond to incidents and crises.
Job responsibilities
- Provide local senior management and committees with visibility into resiliency risk through reporting and regular updates.
- Promote operational resilience, share knowledge, and influence a positive resilience culture.
- Monitor non-compliance via metrics, investigate increases, and take action to resolve issues.
- Conduct thematic reviews and lead projects to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and business priorities.
- Support local senior management in incident and crisis response activities.
- Develop and maintain resilience procedures and guidance documents.
- Partner with local and global business, technology, third-party, and governance stakeholders to identify opportunities for resilience risk reduction.
- Communicate complex resilience topics to senior management and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead stakeholder engagement and foster collaboration across teams.
- Execute on strategic initiatives to enhance resilience posture.
- Ensure ongoing alignment with regulatory and business objectives.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Must be an experienced Vice President with a minimum of 3 years of experience or have held a similar position within the Financial Industry
- Minimum 7 years of experience with strong financial services domain knowledge.
- Proven track record of excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills, including presentations, and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Services or a related field.
- Experience in operations or controls and knowledge of operational resilience.
- Ability to collaborate with local and global stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

- Experience leading operational resilience for a location or business unit.
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
- Experience driving process improvement and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Experience with business continuity planning and crisis management.
