As a Strategy and Planning Senior Associcate in the Strategy and Planning team, you will lead product portfolio strategy and performance reporting for payments products serving our Small Business and Commercial client segments. You will bring together data, insights, and cross-functional partnerships to shape priorities and drive results — including helping the team adopt AI-enabled ways of working to surface sharper insights and improve customer outcomes.
Job responsibilities
- Define and evolve the product portfolio strategy, partnering with product managers to establish objectives and key results, leveraging AI-assisted insights to identify growth opportunities and customer pain points earlier
- Lead strategic projects by structuring complex business problems and developing solutions in collaboration with product, analytics, and research teams, including applying AI/ML methods such as predictive modeling, segmentation, and anomaly detection to quantify performance drivers and prioritize interventions
- Synthesize data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive analysis, and company goals to assess product performance and prioritize future initiatives — using AI to accelerate root-cause analysis and trend detection across large datasets
- Design and scale AI-enabled reporting and operating mechanisms, including automated KPI narratives, exception-based dashboards, and self-serve insights, to reduce manual effort and improve decision speed and quality
- Manage executive communications and updates to senior leaders and stakeholders, translating complex analyses into clear, fact-based recommendations with appropriate validation and human judgment
- Monitor and synthesize industry trends and competitive dynamics across the payments landscape, using AI-supported research workflows to identify emerging threats, opportunities, and best practices
- Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can improve customer experiences and define measurable outcome metrics to evaluate impact
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in strategy, product, analytics, or a related field
- Ability to think strategically and connect insights to the broader business picture while diving into details to drive successful execution
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to present fact-based recommendations clearly, logically, and concisely
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously under rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort working with data and analytics tools, with the ability to collaborate effectively with data science and analytics partners and apply AI-driven insights to business decisions with sound judgment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Master's degree or MBA
- Deep understanding of small business customers and their unique needs
- Experience driving AI-enabled product or analytics initiatives such as experimentation, forecasting, customer segmentation, or operational analytics, including defining success metrics and managing change across stakeholders
