As a seasoned Investment Banking professional, you will have experience developing strong relationships with corporate and financial institution clients and working across multiple products. You will execute transactions across the spectrum of our investment banking offerings, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, loans, and equity and debt capital raises. You will be comfortable managing complex, cross-border processes and stakeholders across the region.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as the primary day-to-day client point of contact and deal captain on transactions
- Review, coordinate, and quality-check the analytical work of junior bankers to advance marketing and execution processes
- Train, mentor, and provide ongoing feedback to junior bankers
- Refine marketing and execution materials for maximum client impact
- Oversee the development of financial projection models and valuation analyses
- Identify, escalate, and manage key risks across the transaction lifecycle
- Liaise with internal and external parties on transactions (e.g., lawyers, accountants, counterparties, and other stakeholders as relevant)
- Lead key client interactions including diligence/Q&A processes and management meetings; support negotiations in partnership with senior bankers

Manage cross-border transactions and coordinate stakeholders across jurisdictions
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
- Minimum 7 years of relevant investment banking experience
- Financial Institutions Group (FIG) sector coverage experience in investment banking
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, valuation, and current FIG industry trends
- Highly driven and detail-oriented, with strong analytical, communication, and writing skills
- Strong track record of leading execution of transactions across M&A and capital markets (ECM/DCM as applicable)
- Ability to interact comfortably with senior client management teams and internal stakeholders
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- Professional proficiency in Mandarin to support coverage of Mandarin-speaking clients across the APAC region
